Wassa Dormama Rock Shrine, a nature shrine near Dormaa in the Western Region. The small sacred grove is also known as ‘bosom kese’ meaning great god by the locals. This comprises a huge rock supported by three other rocks and surrounded by ancient tree vines with soft undergrowth. It is a wonderful sight to enjoy.
Directions: Take a bus to Cape Coast, board a Domama bound vehicle at Kotokoraba Station. If you have your private car, turn off at Ataabadze junction on the Accra-Takoradi road. Alternatively you may also drive from Cape Coast towards Twifo Praso on Kakum road and branch off at Ankaako junction. You will surely spot the signpost.
